The Fort Bend County Office of Emergency Management (OEM) plans and prepares for emergencies, educates the public about preparedness, coordinates emergency response and recovery, and collects and disseminates emergency information.
Flood Safety
The weather here in Southeast Texas can be pretty crazy! Barely out of a drought, and now there's talk of excess rainfall. All while climatologists are still forecasting drought! No stranger to severe weather, the Fort Bend County Office of Emergency Management has learned a few things about flood safety. We have a whole folder of flood safety information posted on this site, but here are some highlights:
