    Dan Timmins of PIER Systems stands with members of the Fort Bend Regional SWAT team behind the LENCO BEARCAT purchased by OEM and recently assigned to the Fort Bend Regional S.W.A.T. Team. This vehicle splits time between the east and west sides of the county and is deployed when needed regionally. It could also be utilized as a high-water rescue vehicle if needed.

The vehicle was on display Friday at the annual Fort Bend County Preparedness Workshop presented by the Fort Bend County Office of Emergency Management. The event was held at the Rosenberg Civic and Convention Center.

All three are with the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, but the regional team is comprised of officers from numerous law enforcement agencies in the county.
