# HEAT ADVISORY now in effect until 7 pm Monday

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Heat Advisory is in effect, for Fort Bend County, until 7 PM CDT Monday, August 23. Very hot conditions are expected to continue as an upper level ridge of high pressure remains parked over Texas. High humidity levels and warm temperatures will combine to produce heat index values between 105 and 110 degrees across Southeast Texas.
Precautions: If you plan to be outside--- avoid prolonged exposure or strenuous activity. Drink plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration. Wear lightweight and light-colored clothing. Wear a hat to shield yourself from the sun. Use sunscreen to reduce possibility of sunburn. Never leave children or pets unattended in vehicles under any circumstances.
