Hurricane season officially begins June 1 and continues through November 30th. As we enter the 2014 Hurricane Season, it is critical that everyone in our area becomes more knowledgeable about hurricanes and hurricane preparedness. During this week, we hope that citizens will begin to prepare by developing a family emergency plan.
Fort Bend County residents also have an opportunity to attend the annual Emergency Preparedness Workshop on May 30 at the Rosenberg Civic Center, presented by the County's Office of Emergency Management. More information can be found at the Office of Emergency Management's website.
