MGT 318: Public Information in an All-Hazards Incident

The City of Houston Office of Emergency Management will be hosting the course MGT 318: Public Information in an All-Hazards Incident with TEEX, July 15-16, 2014, at the Houston Emergency Center, 5320 N Shepherd, Houston, TX 77091.

This course provides practical training in crisis communication techniques during an all-hazards incident. The course focuses on the role of public information in incident management, the information needs of the public in a crisis, and the various means of effectively communicating through the news and social media.
