Care for your neighbors
Your elderly neighbor across the street might have family miles away, but you can check-in after a storm to be sure she’s OK. The neighbor lady might need help with a crying child while she digs out her emergency supplies. Once you’ve secured your family and home, offer to help your neighbors. We’re stronger together, and the whole community recovers faster from the disaster when everyone lends a hand.
Besides, those empty-the-fridge BBQ parties can be a ton of fun!
